World History Honors is a course designed to provide a comprehensive overview of World History that is equivalent to a freshman level college course. It is a two-trimester survey course from the prehistory time period to the present day, taught daily for seventy minutes a day for twelve weeks each trimester. This course will provide students with factual knowledge and the analytical skills needed to assess historical information and documents. Competent reading and writing skills, along with a willingness to devote outside class time to readings and homework are necessary for success in this course. This course is designed according to the guidelines described in the AP World History Course Description.
